Under the conditions such as oceanic island，offshore soft foundation and several reclamation construction subprojects，
based on the principle of project overall earthwork balance，this paper introduces land reclamation design for
Shanghai LNG Terminal project. The designed levee structures，land reclamation and reclamation ground treatment proposals
are meet both LNG land area high turn over requirement and economical. It can provide references for future similar land
reclamation projects design.
