Abstract：This paper discusses the importance of marine anti-corrosion，corrosion mechanism and corrosion features，and
the research progress of anti-corrosion coating for marine steel structure in recent years，and introduces the application of several
anti-corrosion coatings in Tianjin Port. It is considered that the marine anti-corrosion coating should be developed into long
effective coatings，more environmentally protective and more easily applicable.
