Super-high build epoxy heavy-duty coating has good anti-corrosion performance and is environment-friendly，and
has become an important part of the development in marine heavy-duty coatings. This paper introduces a new solvent-free super
high building （SHB） epoxy heavy-duty coating, and its properties were studied through the test of physical properties，and
makes contrast studies on the durability of this coating and three usual heavy-duty coatings when they are used in splash zone，
tidal range area and submerged zone by the simulation marine corrosion environment experiment. The results show that this
coating contained low VOC is environmentally friendly no-solvent coating. The test shows that the worst corrosion area is splash
zone，every coating in the zone was worst corroded. But the super high building coating was the best. This coating may be a
perfect substitute of tar epoxy coating due to its good performance.
