During the rehabilitation of Shuaiba Oil Pier in Kuwait, the concrete used in the works demanded strict requirements for mix ratio, batch and mixing, transportation, temperature of concrete at placing, and reliability of placement operations. To meet the above requirements, technical innovation was carried out on TNEB-Concrete Barge No 7. The paper presents the innovative measures and the result of the technical innovation.
